PREFERRED CONTRACTOR PROGRAM
OFFICIAL RULES
|
1. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID IN PUERTO RICO, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS, U.S. TERRITORIES AND POSSESSIONS AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
2. SPONSOR / PROMOTION PERIOD:
Sponsor is Silver Line Building Products, LLC, One Silver Line Drive, North Brunswick, NJ 08902-6029. Promotion starts on May 9, 2008 and ends on June 30, 2008 (the “Promotion Period”).
3. HOW TO ENTER / PROMOTION PERIOD:
During the Promotion Period, access www.americancraftsmanwindows.com and complete and submit the survey as directed. Limit one entry per person. Once submitted, entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be returned. For a copy of these Official Rules, access and print them from the Website. No automatic, programmed, robotic or similar means of entry are permitted. Sponsor is not responsible for (1) lost, late, damaged, delayed, destroyed, misdirected, garbled, or incomplete surveys; (2) incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry/survey information; (3) any human error, technical malfunctions, or lost/delayed data transmission; (4) any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, or software; (5) inability to access any website or online service, or (6) any other error or malfunction. All entries are the exclusive property of the Sponsor.
4. ELIGIBILITY:
Offer available only to persons who are, at the time of entry: (a) members of the American Craftsman Preferred Contractor Program, (b) legal residents of the 50 US states and the District of Columbia, and (c) 18 years of age or older. Employees of Silver Line Building Products, LLC, Andersen Corporation, and their respective affiliate companies, dealers, distributors, parents, subsidiaries, agents, advertising and promotional agencies, and their immediate families or persons residing in the same household of such employees are not eligible to enter or win.
5. DRAWING / PRIZES
Sponsor will award ten (10) prizes. Prize is one (1) $100 Home Depot gift card. Limitations and restrictions on use may apply. Sponsor will select winners in a random drawing from all eligible entries on or about July 31, 2008 in Bayport, Minnesota. Grand Prize winners will be chosen randomly from among eligible entries submitted during the Promotion Period. Odds of winning prize depends on the number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by telephone, e-mail and/or mail. By entering, entrants give their express permission to be contacted by Sponsor by email. Entrants need not be present to win. All taxes or expenses, including, without limitation, sales tax, luxury tax, federal, state, and local taxes, and any other costs incurred in claiming or using the prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. No prize substitutions or cash equivalent of prize is permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion, and then only for a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes are nontransferable. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, whose decisions are final, binding, and irrevocable in all matters relating to this Promotion. Prize winners may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release within ten (10) days of notification in order to receive prize. In the event of noncompliance with these requirements, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. If prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Unclaimed prizes may not be awarded.
6. GENERAL:
Promotion is subject to applicable federal, state and local law. By participating, entrants release Sponsor, its subsidiaries, agencies, affiliates, and the directors, officers, employees, or agencies of any of the above organizations from any and all liability for any injuries, claims, losses, tax liabilities or damages of any kind arising in connection with an entrant’s participation in this Promotion or resulting from the receipt, possession, ownership, use or misuse of the prize. Entries not satisfying the requirements set forth in these Official Rules will be automatically disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to: (i) disqualify from this or any Promotion it sponsors, now or in the future, any person it finds, in its sole discretion, has intentionally violated these official rules, tampered with the entry process, the operation of this Promotion, or any other aspect of this Sweepstakes; and (ii) cancel or suspend this Promotion in its entirety if tampering, fraud, or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Sweepstakes. In such event, the Sponsor will select winners in a random drawing from all eligible entries received prior to the date of cancellation or suspension. By acceptance of prize, winner consents that Sponsor may use his/her name, likeness and/or prize information for purposes of advertising, trade, or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. In the event of any dispute arising from this Sweepstakes or the award of any prize, the laws of the State of Minnesota shall apply.
7. WARNING.
ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER PERSON TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS; AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT OR OTHER PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING SEEKING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
8. WINNERS LIST:
To receive a list of winners, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: American Craftsman Preferred Contractor Program Sweepstakes, ATTN: Program Administrator - MN-100-0235, Andersen Corporation, 100 Fourth Avenue North, Bayport, MN 55003, by January 31, 2009.
